Winter jewels

So I got a little bored and decided to do a little outfit post for a casual and quirky look for winter. Since I'm a big fan of jewel tones, I decided to put some burgundy with a black/white print, highlights of pastel pink to add depth to the color palette and a teal handbag to finish off the look.

MSFW 2013 Looks

While some designers went for pure elegance or sobriety, some others gave us quirky but wearable pieces. Black and white colour blocking, nudes/beiges and pastel numbers were popular, while I also noticed a pop of chartreuse yellow now and then (Especially in Alexi Freeman's neon rich collection). Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2013 (MSFW)

I recently volunteered with MSFW as an Event Operations Assistant and ok, even though I was running around lifting boxes a lot, I still got to enjoy the runway shows from almost front row distance! Unfortunately, I couldn't take photos up close but here are a couple pics of my view from the balcony on opening night.
